Brett Woods – Partner & Business Advisor


With over 25 years of business experience, Brett has been instrumental in developing a team culture built on excellence. Brett has many years of experience in chartered accounting, including 13 years of managing and growing his own accounting practice. Brett provides specialised taxation and management advice to business owners, adding value to their businesses through the correct structuring of their taxation affairs, financing and management strategies. Brett has a Degree in Commerce (Accounting Major with the University of Wollongong), is a Chartered Accountant, a Registered Tax Agent and an Accredited Loan Writer.

Brett is passionate about his clients’ future and provides exceptional advice and direction with an understanding of the importance of all of his clients, both large and small.

Matt Bell – Practice Manager & Business Advisor


Matt helps manage the day to day operations of the practice and also has over 25 years’ experience in the accounting profession. Matt joined the firm in October 2007 and his responsibilities include developing and improving systems; training, recruitment and supervision of staff; ensuring highest quality control; reviewing all financials and tax returns before they leave the office; assisting clients with tax planning and business structure advice; marketing matters; and assisting clients with various business-related services, as the need arises. Matt has a Certificate in Accounting (TAFE NSW), a Degree in Commerce (Accounting Major with the University of Wollongong), is a Chartered Accountant, a Registered Tax Agent, and also has a Certificate in Marketing (TAFE NSW).
Matt believes that to be successful, businesses, no matter what their size, must be built on a foundation of great quality, service and systems without compromise.

In his spare time, Matt coaches a junior rugby side at Burraneer Rugby Club where he has been involved for over 13 years.  He has also coached Southern Districts rep rugby and been a junior manager at Cronulla Surf Club for close to 10 years. Matt also loves to travel with his family.

Linda Jagger – Accountant


Linda returned to the firm in May 2008 after a break from accounting for a couple of years. Linda has significant experience in Business Services & Taxation having specialised in these areas for many years. She looks after a number of our small to medium sized clients and is also extremely knowledgeable in the area of self-managed superannuation funds.

Tamsin Nolan – Accountant


Tamsin is a qualified accountant who has been with Eclipse since 2012. She has worked in the industry for nearly 10 years. In 2009, she graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Accounting and Minor in Business Law. In 2015, she completed the CPA Program with Distinction.

Tamsin has experience in many facets of tax & business services including small to medium size entities and self-managed superannuation funds. She is our resident cloud guru and ‘Xero Hero’ specialising in getting businesses up and running on cloud accounting software such as Xero. She also has extensive experience in general bookkeeping, on many software packages like Xero and MYOB and is a whiz with Excel.

In her spare time, Tamsin loves to travel. She has so far backpacked in UK & Europe, adventured in New Zealand, Thailand & Australia and travelled to the US & Canada, where she met her now husband.

Jacob Ward – Accountant


Jacob commenced with Eclipse in April 2012 and is initially working on a 3 day a week basis while studying at the University of Wollongong where he is completing his second year of a double major of Accounting and International Business. Jacob’s previous job was a crew leader at Gloria Jean Cronulla where he worked for 3 years. Jacob has a keen interest in sport, particularly Rugby League and American Football.

Nicole Hendry – Individual Tax


Nicole commenced with the firm in June 2012.  She has extensive background in customer service while working in the banking industry and also worked for a non-bank home lender. Nicole loves going away on holidays in her caravan with the family and is a big supporter of the Cronulla Sharks.  In more recent times, Nicole has been trained to assist with individual client tax returns in addition to assisting our accountants with administrative tasks.

Administration Team

Megan Carr – Admin Manager


Megan commenced with the firm in July 2010 after working for a Direct Mail Service business for around 22 years where she held a variety of positions from customer service, bookkeeper, office manager and account manager. Megan also completed a Diploma of Accounting at st George TAFE in 2009. Megan is responsible for managing practice administration matters.
